City Council Map Proposal

Hello!
My name is Ethan Ball and I am a high school senior and Irvine resident who will be attending Stanford University in the fall. I am very passionate about politics and redistricting so I was thrilled to hear that Irvine is considering moving to by-district city council elections! I have drawn a proposal on DRA and would like to submit it; here is the link: https://davesredistricting.org/join/0e57809d-881d-43af-92c1-e4595b14f64d. My biggest priority in this map was keeping planning areas whole, and I only split two (El Camino Real along the Como Channel which provides a natural split and Cypress Village because I believe that the planning area should not include the approximately 1,000 people east of the 133). The population deviation follows the 10% rule and I believe I kept communities of interest intact.
